“This was a truly life-changing experience that could not have come at a more perfect moment. My husband got a private songwriting experience with Anne as a Christmas gift for me. 20 minutes before the scheduled experience, I found out that my Grandpa was about to pass away, and would be starting to take visitors to say their goodbyes. I thought about canceling for a minute, but felt like I should do the experience. As soon as Anne took us into coming up with ideas for songs, the only thing I could think about was Grandpa in his chair. Over the next hour and a half we wove together a truly beautiful, touching song about the change of life and the meaning of constancy. I especially love the line, “Oh the years go by, and you start to realize, there’s so much change in this great big world. The things that stay the same start to mean everything.
